I know this is late notice, but received information about a poker run in Sebastian (northern vero beach) on Sunday 9-16-2007. I'm meeting with some guys at the VFW for breakfast in Fort Pierce at 8:30 a.m. From there, we will be riding up to Sebastian for the Poker Run. It is to benefit Hospice. It is $10.00 a hand. Here is the list of stops. The first is the starting point, and the last is the ending point.

1 - Earl's Hideaway in Sebastian
2 - Gary's Poorhouse in Vero Beach
3 - Eagles Club in Fort Pierce
4 - Moose Lodge in Jensen Beach
5 - Moose Lodge in Stuart

Anyone want to go just meet me at the VFW in Fort Pierce at 8:30 a.m. Again, I know this is a late notice, but I hope a couple of you can make it. I guess I was sleeping at the news stand when this came out. [sm=morning.gif]

 

I wish I could make it, but no baby setter. Next time I'll be there.

 

Can't make this one Murph; spent the day out with thewife and have a pile of work to do before I head in on Monday morning.

Riding solo. Oh well, it was late notice anyways. I'm a big boy, and I think I can ride alone......

 

Had a great ride. I met some guys at the Fort Pierce VFW where they had an AWESOME breakfast for only $4.00. I have eggs, seasoned potatoes, fully cooked bacon, toast, and coffee. You could have added a order of biscuits and gravy at not additional, but I'm fat enough now. We headed to Sebastian where the run started at Earl's bar on the river. We headed down to several other bars (Moose, Eagles lodges) going down Old Dixie Hwy and Indian River Drive until we finally stopped at the Moose Lodge in Stuart. All in all it was a great ride. Of course, almost any ride is a great ride. I wish you all could have made it. Maybe next time.
