I rode down from Lakeland yesterday. Rolled out about 6am, was havin breakfast on Main st around 8. Main st looked like a ghost town when we rolled in. After breakfast we headed out to Destination Daytona.
Pretty good crowd there. Then headed back down to Main st.. Spent a while checking out the vendors by the old Daytona HD shop for a while, then headed out for the speedway. Was a great day til I got about 10 miles from home. Thats when the sky opened up.

Weather report on this side of the states not lookin too good for tomorrow am If theres no change in the forcast by morning. Im gonna hold off and ride back down on Sunday. If I dont make it, ya'll ride safe!!

 

Hey guys, I'm gonna have to bow out on tomorrow. I went down today, main street was packed pretty good, rossmeyers was very full. Lots of eye candy. On the way home, scoot started makin' some funny noises. I'm thinkin cam chain tensioners. Anyone know how to tell if they are goin bad without crakin open the cam chest?

 

Not looking good guys...... Not going to sign up for crouded streets and wet roads. 70% chance of rain today, that means it will. Wide area coverage of it too.

We do this for fun, not see how tough we are. O.K. I'm a woss.

Yep, drizziling outside the hotel in Sanford right now, no lightning and just a drizzle so I'll be there for the meet. Hope to see as many as possible safeley.

 

Unfortunately, I am stuck at work in Orlando but am heading to Orlando HD for a smaller event called Hogtoberfest with beer and bratwurst and beergirls.

That and the rain are making me feel a little better about missing Daytona this year

 

rode from jacksonville to daytona on saturday morning ,never saw any rain.rode with jaxfatboy to ormond beach.met some other friends down on beach st and went to main st and partied. had an AWESOME time.

 

It turned out beautiful. We just got back home to Jax.

Went to Rossmeyers, J p Cycle and then went to beach street Hd. Left there went to OutBack Steakhouse then came home!

I was a nice afternoon. I will not cease to kick myself for not heading to Deland.

Randy I got one of the voicemails, called you back and left you a voicemail. At that point in the afternoon I was at the Iron Horse Saloon looking for HDForum nametags; hee hee.

Later took some back roads and went for a nice long (uncongested) ride. Picked up to OL and we headed to St. Augustine for dinner tonight. Just got home.

If by chance ANY of our forum group is hanging around tonight and will be riding tomorrow in the area, let us know here!

 

After the weather cleared up this morning in Lakeland I headed out with hopes of making it to Deland by noon. Got into some heavy traffic headed east on I 4 and then a rain shower. We exited at Orlando HD and spent the day there. They put on a nice event. had a great time. Sorry I missed you all. Between the weather and the traffic. I would have never made it there by noon.
