RE: Lake Okeechobee Ride
Nice pics WG.
I forgot to mention my mishap to you all. I was a mile away from home and decided I needed to fill up my tank. I was filling my tank when the nozzle of the pump came out of the small hole and slide over brass casing inside the tank. (kinda like when you put your finger over the end of a running water hose). Well it covered the console and front end of my bike with gas. Needless to say I was a little ticked off. I finished pumping, and then used a liter bottle of water and washed down the front end of my bike.
When I got home, I took off the console to let it dry. I used window cleaner and wiped down the entire front end. Then I used my Harley polish and sprayed the whole front end. It is just amazing I was only 1 mile away from being home. Go figure.... Funny now.

RE: Lake Okeechobee Ride
We just got home a little bit ago.. got a few pics, but I'll have to get them up tomorrow sometime.. I'm just too wore out right now! 450 miles round trip for us... Big thanks to fmbeach for meeting up with us in the morning and leading us to the meeting spot and then back to the interstate after the ride~ Also, Murph, let Tony know just how much I really appreciated his assistance with my oil cooler lines... "Thanks"! [8D]
Today.. along with seeing everyone come together to help out evcjohn the other day, really goes to show what a great bunch of people HDF has for members~ There were no big egos in the way and everyone we (Brenda and I) meet were truely good people! It was a pleasure to meet you all~ I'm sure we'll be seeing some of you, if not all, for another great ride someday~ If you're ever in our neck of the woods and need a place to park the bike and chill out for a day or two... anyone one of you are more then welcomed here at our place... just say the word!
Thanks, again,for the great day...

Hey BlueDragon, It was a pleasure meeting you. Tony was impressed on how we all meet - HDforums. Tell your wife she has a nice bike. It's not a Harley, but still a nice bike.
Who ever took pictures I would like to get a copy of the original on a cd if possible. Thanks.

Met some great people. Had a great ride. What more could you ask for.
Murph is already talking about a HD Forums Florida Meet and Greet sometime this winter up around Sebring someplace.
I dropped the camera off at Wall-Mart and wouldn't you know it, I can't get the pix back until tomorrow. (thats today.)
I'm like Murph, bad with names so I'll post the pictures later todayand let everyone post the names to go with the pictures.
