Well folks... I got good news and bad news... Bad news first. I wont make the trip to Helen on the 15th. Now for the good news... My son, Greyson King Byrd was born on July 12, 2007 at 3:07 pm. Tracie is doing great. She had to have a C-section and will not be leaving the hospital till Sunday. He is 7 lbs 15 oz and 22 inches long. For now, he has an easy going personality just like his dad. FOR NOW!!!
Anyway, I appreciate you all giving me the well wishes and look forward to riding with you all again... I cant wait actually...

Thanks you all. I really appreciate it much... Dean, you are right, Kaye did say a boy. I am glad she was correct... I have already showed him the Glide and he gave me a nice burp... I will take that as a nod of approval. I will really miss you all tomorrow. Part of me wishes I could steal away and come with you all but that would get me in the dog house... :-)

Congrats on your new son, mrghos!!! Sorry you can't make the ride, but we all understand, take care your family. Hope to meet you at the next ride.
So I guess were still on for the ride tomorrow? Looks like only 30% chance of rain in Helen mostly in the afternoon. Should be dry or a little damp in Macon starting out. Looking forward to it. Hey Brian, I'll meet you at the Shell station next to Shoney's at 6:30am.
