i have an 08 ultra and i have already had the seat modified a bit a pro pad has been installed and some mild molding on the riders part. i need to have the seat modified as i need to move back 2 more inches. i beleive doing this will result in the seat having to be completely recovered because of the hole for the riders backrest will have to be eliminated. is there an option and a price for this and have you done this before thanks mark

 

Going back that far with that seat isn't a option we offer. You would have to re-work the seat pan also because the part that goes up for the backrest slot of the seat would hit you in the back of the butt. It rises about 5-6"s plus it contours to the fender.

The way the 08 Ultra seat is made, rearward movement isn't easy to accomplish without making a new cover and of course the Ultra seats are the most complexed covers to make. Just from seeing the picture of you on the bike I would probably go with either the memory foam modification but like I said before moving back isn't easily accomplished with that seat.
