IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Scheduling
To keep turn around time down we are going to a scheduling system. If
your not worried about turn around time, feel free to send your seat in
whenever you want to. If your want your seat back as soon as possible
please read below. The process of setting up a appointment for your seat
is listed.
The way the scheduling will work is like this.
1. You call and schedule your seat to be done. We will tell you what
dates are available. The dates are first come first serve. You chose the
date you want.
2. A $25 appointment fee must be paid up front. This will be
non-refundable if you cancel your appointment. The $25 will be applied to
your total. So if you get the memory foam modification which is $100 plus
return shipping, all you will be left owing is $75 plus return shipping.
3. Your seat MUST be at the Mean City Cycles no later than the day before
its scheduled date. So if your appointment is for Nov 8th for example the
seat MUST be at the shop no later than Nov 7th. On the scheduled date the
seat is completed and shipped that same day.(There are a few exceptions to
this though. The Comfort Rider Plus modifications require a custom fitted
cover and turn around time will be slightly slower)
4. We will work with you all we can but once you have your date set it is
up to you to make sure the seat is at the shop on time. If your seat is
late we will try to work it in as soon as we can but it will most likely
be 3-5 days because we will be operating on a schedule and our time will
be limited.
5. If you do not care what the turn around time is feel free to send the
seat in anytime but it could be as much as a month turn around time on
seats not scheduled.
I think I have covered everything. This is the first time we have gone to
a schedule only format. Last year we were scheduling some and it worked
out very well. I really feel you the customers will be very happy not
being without your seat for a extended amount of time and we won't have a
shop full of seats sitting around waiting to be worked on. If you have
any questions on how this works please feel free to call or email us and
we will answer any and all your questions.
