Nice. It started up like that at 42 degrees which has been my coldest morning with it so far.

When it gets to 30° or in the twenties is when you are going to have problems.
The oil will be very thick and hard to kick over the engine.
It's getting too cold to ride at that temp anyway, so no loss.

I rode a 1998 Sportster with the HyperCharger air cleaner w/K&N filter, just for a year or so before i got my first IronHead. Rode in the rain a few times. Never a problem.

I think that i have never heard any reliable stories about these setups causing problems. I think the only guys who worry about it are those who do not have one.

I would sure like to know where you bought that so I can pass it on to others. The elbowed cable at on time was difficult to find."
