Lets see your Ironhead

FXDXRIDER, thanks for the compliement!
I really love it, I had this same model bike 30 some years ago when I was a kid just out of high school. I don't know what the s/n of my first one was, so if someone told me this was the one I had back then, I guess I'd just believe them.
It brings back so many fun memories from the three years I owned it back then. I picked this one up about a year and a half ago, couldn't believe it when I saw a pic of it on Craigs list. It's the same color/paint scheme and model that I had as a kid and it's all orginal except the exhaust.
Just a complete blast to have both the Evo and the Ironhead.
I see a 1975 Sporty in your album, looks very nice, do you still have it?

Blackcherry. I do still have it. I got it 3 years ago and it was properly restored by the guy I got it from but since then I've put a new battery and starter onto it (learning my way round the bike slowly). It's not as immaculate as yours but it's very clean and tidy. This winter project on it is to sort out the front head which has started spitting oil onto the front downpipe. These are, to me, one of the most beautiful bikes ever made.
