Red or Blue?
What permatex threadlocker do you use in assembly of your "shaker"?
If both, which parts blue, and which red?
Ride Hard, Ride Free, Mirrors ore only good for looking back when sitting still.

Red is what I used on my ol' Shovel. The pack says heat required to get the bolts off, but, I never needed it. I was wondering if the formula had changed. It has been 10 years since my last re-build.

No red anywhere on mine. Just blue here and there.

When I built mine I made sure to use lock washers on everything. Do I need to locktite some stuff also? Been riding and so far nothing has fallen off !

The factory parts catalog is good for this. If the application calls for a lockwasher then i use one and no locktite. Otherwise blue. Nothing on cylinder head bolts.
