Made one for my 78 and maybe its me but it seems a little more responsive and seems to Rev quick. Would this little change make an impact in performance What have you guys encountered in going from open pipes to the lollipip? It did seem to quite it down some will running a low speeds. But of course when you crack the throttle its as loud as ever!
I put them in my previous bike. Cycle Shack slash cut slip-ons, with baffles replaced with lollipops. Made a very noticeable difference as noted above.
I was wondering, i have drag pipes, but instead of going straight back, they slant up at a 45 degree angle just past the engine, does this create any back pressure or is it just for looks?

Less so for back pressure... more so for looks. Do the lollipops.
shepdog youre pipes looks like mine i think but i never had baffles in.im not really sure what i would need to do.i would like to try this as it seems everyone is in agreement about it.
i am curious if everyone is using the same size i.d washer?
my pipes are 2"i know that everybody here cant stand the large drag pipes but its what i have ,i have had these exact pipes on all 3 of my ironheads, and i have learned to tune them to best that they can be ,my bike runs super with open drags (very little of a flat torqe curve),runs perfect when the baffles are put in no flat spot at all, just depends if i want to **** my neighbors off if i put the baffles in or not, mine have a 1/4" hole in the bottom about 6" from the end to bole the baffles in
