Default Evo Motor in Ironhead frame?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has done this (which Im sure they have) and how hard was it and what all was done, any build process info and pics? I think I have a better chance of getting an EVO motor than an Ironhead...

Thanks in Advance

This gets asked on various forums from time to time. The straight answer is no! the ironhead engine will not go into an Evo frame. The other answer is that you can do anything with a cutting torch and a welder - but this project is not worth the time and effort.

Best choice is an aftermarket frame - there are lots of very good ones, much better and much safer than a home made, cut-up whatever.

As IronMick wrote go for aftermarket frame, into 85-86 frame you can fit EVO engine but it requires modifications... I wouldn't do it. Actually everything can be fitted, it's only matter of work and what is reasonable to do. If you aren't "pro" making frames it's cheaper, easier and safer to buy aftermarket frame.
