Angry Lost my damned key?!?!

Is there a direct cross-replacement I could buy at the local auto parts store?

You didn't say what year or model but I was able to get my key copied at a local lock and key place. I hope you have a second key someplace.

If you are lucky enough to have the key number provided upon purchase a replacement can be provided without a huge effort.

A new ignition key switch is inexpensive, easy to install, and comes with two keys.

I was told my the local HD that I could get a replacement key direct from them with nothing other than the VIN number. I did mention that it was for a 75 model and they said no problem.

The trouble with the round key switches is that you can operate them with a plastic ball point pen half - or at least so i have heard.
