Most of the distributors catalogs have the sensor you need. you may need to get
your signal from the sprocket if you do not have a place for the sensor to mount
in your transmission. There is also a conversion unit to hook up to your cable
drive and it will convert it to a digital signal.

The lady I talked to on the phone from Dakota digital told me i should try part 730-522. It's called an inductive speed sensor, and what it does is counts the teeth on either the transmission sprocket or the rear sprocket. The other thing she told me to use was a cable drive sender for my speedo, part number 381-736. Both of these can be found in the j and p catalog. Hope this helps.
