I run an old S&S Super B on my machine and love it. I think you will be pleased in your decision.

 

there is a trick to the tillotson carb to get it to start in 1 or 2 kicks you have to tickle the diafram.i eventually in stalled a rivit to act as a tickle button in the center hole of the plastic

 

just as easy to get a carb that doesn't require tricks.
