The XLH has the kidney oil tank with the drop-in oil filter. The XLCH has the lunch box oil tank with no oil filter. You can buy a kit to install an oil filter on one of the lower front engine mounts. These are commonly available: local indie bike shop, eBay sellers, J&P Cycles, etc.

 

Can you think of any particular brand thats worth strapping to my ride? Think if I did put one on I'd prefer to install somewhere towards the rear of the bike.
