I couldn't give you a ballpark even, but I can tell you that it all depends. On what you ask, on the following: is the charging system functioning at all or just weak? Is the charging system actually discharging the battery as the bike runs? are you riding with or without lights? how dead is the battery before you start? I don't think you can really get any straight answers to this question.

Since you live in Florida and have to run the lights, I don't think you could get far before the battery would be drained.

If it's anything like my 76, I can go 20-25 miles before the battery drains completly. That's with the lights on.

With my old -74 XLH , regulator busted in middle of the road trip...bike had original size 32Ah battery. I was 130 miles from home so I drive to nearest gas station and filled up 3.3 gal tank. With Crane electronic ignition ( any electronic) bike run if battery voltage is over 9V, with points it will run more. So I rode without lights whole trip back home, I was forced to turn on reserve after about 110 miles. So my opinion is that if battery is ok you run out of fuel before battery is drained. Different issue is if you are riding with XLCH with small battery, in other hand it has smaller fuel capacity.
