observation made regarding the double back slash business....
Hey guys, it just hit me that as long as I do not indent the beginning of a sentence, the double back slash does not appear. Is this the case for you?
I will start a new paragraph as a test:
 \\;Test for back slash.
Yep, that is what causes it. So I guess I have to retrain myself to avoid indenting a new sentence in the future. Boy, that is going to be a job to retrain myself! I would rather re-shim the cam clearances than retrain myself................pg

Yeah Horse. What I have found so far is that if I indent I get the double back slash.
If I go over that back slash to edit it out, then I get another double back slash added, so now I would have 4 back slash marks in place of the original 2.
This message should not contain any back slashes as I have not placed an indentation anywhere at the beginning of a sentence.
As a final note, I also found that if I typed a word with an apostrophe S (an example is using the apostrophe in place of the full term as in....That's in place of That is) it resulted in the apostrophe becoming a quote mark rather than an apostrophe. See, it registered as a (") in the word Thats. Strange indeed.......pg

You should be able to view pictures if you click on the little box. I have also found that you only want to put one space in after a sentence or you really get boogered up. The apostrophe thing is strange and Ive noticed that too. They are working on it and hopefully they will get it fixed soon.
