I called S&S and explained my delimma. They gave me an order/reference # and I sent the carb to S&S in wisconsin. It came back totally cleaned and R&R'ed and it was about 1-150$. That was a few years ago. It was refurbished back to brand new.

 

its as good as its going to get for now i do plan on modify it to a better carb and use it when I finnally decide and can afford a few more things for the twin cam b build or find someone to trade for a SE 44 CV carb when it comes off
