Default Daniel Boones on '75 or 76 with cable brake?

Anyone have pics of a '75 or '76 with Daniel Boone forward controls. Interested in seeing how you ran the brake cable side of things.

Thanks,

Skinner

I'm at work now, but when I get home I will take a snap shot for you. Would you happen to have a picture of your shift side hooked up correctly? I would like to see how you got your shifter hooked up. I can't get my shifter linkage to reach correctly with out the shifter arm being so high in the air that I have to lift my foot up to shift or hit it with the back side of my boot. I know that makes no sense at all but I will show you what I mean when I get home.

No worries man. I was just curious how your shifter looks just sitting there not in use.

Here's thre pictures of how I have my brake cable ran on my forward controls. Mine is a 76. Ignore all the grease, gunk and scratches. The bike is goign through a rebuild right now. The pictures may not be all that informative but thats because my wife took the pictures as my hands were greasy.

Hey Skinner did you get a chance to take a picture of your shifter side? I would be really curious to see yours.

Thanks!

Thank you very much. I can see now what my problem was. I was using the upper hole for my foot rest instead of the bottom like yours.

Very nice bike by the way. I love the color.

Thats a good question. I'm wondering the same thing now too. The only thing I can think of is if it were for a highway peg, but the shifter and brake would be right in the way, so that doesnt make much sense.
