Default RE: Standard Frame?

Your frame is an aftermarket frame (custom) for sure. Harley never made a Sportster with a rigid frame. Additionally, the frame neck has been raked to offset the long front end. I say has been raked, but what I mean is, this is the way the frame was made. This keeps the frame level with the over long front fork tubes.
Your engine originally had an electric starter on it, as seen by the round cut out on the timing cover. Your front end is 1974 or later in my estimation.....pg
