front brake upgrade (dual discs?)

front brake upgrade (dual discs?)
Hi Folks,
I have a '73 Ironhead and I would like to increase its stopping power (and feel). It currently has a single front disc (PM caliper), but is set up (sort of) for dual discs. The front wheel has two rotors on it currently. What do I need to add a second caliper and get it working with the current master cylinder? Or will I need a new master cylinder? Also, the current caliper is a single piston. Is a dual piston (or more) an option.
many thanks,
Chris

RE: front brake upgrade (dual discs?)
Both forks have to have the mounts for a dual disc setup. There is a right and left side caliper also. You can use the master cylinder you have and run it to a "tee" mounted under the lower triple tree and from there go to each caliper. Single piston calipers will work ok.
