I recently got my mothers old bike back to fix up for my brother. It had an electrical fire and the harness is done for. I purchased a new harness, along with other things, and since most of the old wiring is gone, i have no idea where everything goes. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1984 Sportster XLX 1000?

I don't know how similar your 1984 is to a 1986-1990 XLH, but here is a link to the 86-90 wiring
