Default Ironhead performance upgrade

I'm looking to do a mild performance upgrade on my 80 ironhead. It has s&is super e with drags. I have never been into the motor and assume it is stock. Looking to do cams mild head work and increase bore. Looking for suggestions.

Andrews PB+ cams will wake the engine up noticeably at ~4000 RPM. A nice, easy upgrade with instant results. No "headwork" required. Pass big trucks on windy days on two-lane highways

I would recommend that you do not do any internal engine upgrades until there is some other reason to take off the top end. "Never dismantle a good running engine" say many mechanics of long experience

Forget milling the heads. No benefit there at all. Use a 0.015 copper head gasket. Super E and Drag Pipes are a good start. Check out DK Custom Torque Thruster baffles . . . THEY WORK!!!!! Order a pair of 10:1 Wisco pistons and rings. You'll have to pull the cylinders and have them bored. There are NO Big Bore kits for any year Ironhead. Pull the cam cover off and look n see if ya got the P cams. Those are the factory hot cams. You can get a little wilder with Andrews PB+ cams. You already have an Ultima ignition which really ROCKS!!!! Only problem with the Ultima is the spark advance curve is too damn soft. IF you want it, I have an advance curve map that really wakes it up. Just PM me and I'll give ya all the info on how to recurve that Ultima unit.

Yes!
If you have not had cams out before I can provide a few hints to make it easier.
