I am very sad to inform you all that Softail Girl, after having fought cancer for many long years, has passed on. She died with no pain, quietly drifting away while sleeping this afternoon. She outlasted all predictions that the medical personnel made, surprising everyone with her strength.
I personally thought that it would be nice if someone told you, so that those of you who knew her but haven't found out yet will now know. Thank you all, because I know that she's had many smiles because of her family here. She has told me many stories about discussions on these forums.

Maryse, how difficult it must have been for you to come on here and give us this update. Please know that many, many of us are praying for you and your family at this most difficult time.

Your mother's strength and ability to live life to it's fullest has touched the hearts of many.

I had the pleasure of meeting with her when she came out on a Fly and Ride in 2009. We shared a great day laughing together. I will never forget her.

i knew your but briefly on here, unfortunatly i didnt get the chance to meet her when i lived in Ottawa. but from what i have seen, and read on here she was a very strong and carign person. my deepest sympathies in this troubling time

 

I didnt know her but I bet I would have loved her.
