I am sad to say I have moved this post from the "Prayer" thread to this one.
My Brother-in-law Jeremy Holmbeck, age 28, was found in his vehicle in a ditch about 2 miles outside Harvard, Il. about 2 weeks ago with two gunshot wounds to the head. He was in a coma since then and passed away this Easter Sunday at 0500hrs after removal from life support.
Details of the investigation are sketchy at best. He was found with a .25 cal handgun he legally purchased but his wallet and cellphone are missing. No activity on his accounts.
The McHenry Co. Detectives cannot rule it a Homicide OR Suicide as he was shot once in the back seat and once in the front seat.
An autopsy is scheduled asap, and I hope it sheds some light on the cause of death. My wife is very upset as is the rest of his family.
Thanks to all who posted prayers for his recovery. It is nice to know the people here are caring individuals.
