If it ran when you took the tank off to have it painted and hasn't run since then retrace your steps that you did when you put the tank back on. First off did you plug the fuel pump in? Did you remove the pump from the tank? If so did you kink a line when putting it back in? Did the ground wire inside the tank come off?
