Default Newbie Question Regarding ECU

I just bought my first bike a few weeks ago. Its an Iron 883. Im ready to put my vance and hines short shots and K&N air cleaner. Im sure this question has been answered time and time again but I cant exactly find the answer Im looking for.

Now I understand there needs to be a remap with these new upgrades.

Here is my question:
Do I need to do a remap or computer download in addition to something like a Fuelpak, power commander, or FI2000? Or is that considered the remap itself?

If I put the pipes, AC, and fuelpak on, do I need to do anything else?
