Default 110 race fuel

I was told by a fellow rider that I could mix 1 gallon of 110 race fuel ( has lead) with 4 gallons of 93 fuel and it would clean my motor and get better mpg. I have a 2008fatboy with heavy breather ,bud7 slipons , and a PC V from fuel moto. Is this true or will it hurt my motor? I also have no O2 Sensers.

110 may have lead in it and affect your o2 sensors...as far as cleaning your motor.....unless you are running extremely rich.....you probably won't have much carbon....I've been in these new twin cams and the stock fuel map will not allow them to run rich enough to carbon up...I love the way it smells though......Definitely will run cooler.....Really essential in higher compression engines.

As suggested above...mixing the high octane fuel will most likely result in a lighter wallet only.

NO. Octane is as a shoe. You want it to be right size. When you mix 110 fuel with 93 as you said you will get ~96 octane. If your engine is not designed for 96 it will not benefit from it in any way. On the contrary, since it burns slower it can theoretically damage your valves.

I am not going to mix the to,as my bike runs fine on 87. Just trying to see if he is telling the truth or if he is full of it. I am thanking he is so full of it that his eyes are going to turn brown soon. But I did see a big drop of mpg when I put a PC V ,heavy breather and bud7slipson . It went from 240mile on 4gallons to 180 mile per 4 gallons is this the was it is or is there something wrong with my Fuelmoto canned map?
