I'll be really interested in your thoughts on the Fuelpak once you have it installed run with it. I'm leaning toward the same solution - fuelpak with K&N 3909 or AN Big Sucker. I already have V&H Oval slipons.

For those of us that don't plan to perform any engine upgrades the fuelpak seems like a good choice. I know Pastor John seems very happy with his as well as BillG.

Best of luck. Keep the rest us posted.

Regards,
J.B.

The Fuel Pack is a good ,easy to use, unit. As long as your not going to do major performance mods. Had it on my 03 , did have decel popping. My fault.. Had changed to True Duals & they loosened up a little right after installing. Re tightened everything & no more popping. However now its history. Decided to do major mods, now it is sitting on the shelf. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Make somebody a good deal on a 3 month old unit !!

Got it today, installed it in about 1/2 hour, the hardest part was screwing the FP on to the bracket. Very simple to load the settings. Just got back from 50 mile ride and absoulutely no pinging whatsoever, very smooth. There is definately more power and no backfire on decel. So far I am very happy with it. I'll be putting about 350 miles on it Saturday so that should be a good test.

Exactly what I was hoping to hear! Glad you like the set up so far. Does the bike seem to run a little cooler as well? Did you experience any hesitation or flat spots?

J.B.

Just got back from another ride, it is running cooler, no hesitation or flat spots. It pulls good at 65 in 6th gear too. I briefly got it up to 105 mph, its running very smooth.

07 SG, Did mine today ... Supertrapp SE mufflers, Fuelpak & Ness Big Sucker

Supertrapps have a nice low sound with a moderate bark when going hard
Fuelpak was easy, like another said...kinda a pain getting all the wires bundled up tight & unit mounted

Did 30 miles, easy start & actually reduced the 07 clunk at starting, bike ran really nice & smooth, easy to program, pulled nicely thru the gears... seems to work real nice. Not enough miles to say any more

About an easy 2 hrs to do it all on a lift

The program for this combo is: FP-0842 ... its not in the normal data info. You'll have to look it up.
