RE: Did I get the right SERT?
The 32107-01E is correct for your 06, but if number's don't match could have been conned and if has been used it will not work on any harley except one used on, but go to tech. site and see if he conned you, hope he did not. PURPLEHAZE.

RE: Did I get the right SERT?
32107-01 is the part# for a SERT, E is which version it is. I just purchased brand new 32107-01G which I believe is the latest version. It is dated 02/12/07. You just have one that does not have the latest MAP's for the 07's. The part# on the module 32114-01A does not match the SERT kit part #32107-01G.( in my case). You should be fine as long as the module has never been hooked up to another bike.
Somebody please correct me if I just gave the wrong information!

RE: Did I get the right SERT?
ORIGINAL: 06 Ultra
Shovelhead Bob, I'm concerned about the # on the module 32114-01A not matching the part # on the packaging 32107-01E. How do I determine if the key is already Vin locked?
Thanks, Bob

The 32107-01E is a PN for a KIT.... Kits are comprised of a few PARTS..... Those parts being the key, disc, and cables if applicable...
Was the box that the key was in (Small, brown, sealed with orange lables and closed in SEALED Celophane) opened at all?????
There are 2 lables on the smaller box, both have statements in effect that if the seal is broken, you are assed out of any return....
If not, you should be okay, and hook up to the PC and ECM via the cables with the key in-between....
The MOST important thing you can do is READ the ENTIRE manual 2 or 3 times to understand what you are doing....

RE: Did I get the right SERT?
Hook up to your bike and attempt to "Get ECM Info" in the tuning mode......
If it states that it cannot, due to being formatted for another bike, you are, more than likely up Sheittz Creek...
If it were me, I'd be sending it back to the seller.....
No telling what you get from an online auction nowadays....
Remember, READ the MANUAL to do this....

RE: Did I get the right SERT?
Well I finally figured out how to read the ECM. Took me a while to figure out the com port. The ECM pn#'s match, But when you try to upload a map, msg comes back & says unit locked to different Vin. Unable to use. Now I start the FUN with the seller. Buyer BEWARE on Ebay.
Thanks for the replys, Bob

RE: Did I get the right SERT?
I've had fourdeputed buys on EBAY and all were solved. Worked with the buyer twice and filed claimson theother two.All 4 worked out in the end so don't lose hope, but be patient.Try to work with the seller first. He may not have know the limitations of SERT, so give him a chance to make good. Otherwise file a claim. If you used PAYPALit's actually quite easy and favors the buyer.
Always readthe sellers feed back!!....its a good indicator as to how well they are to work with when problems arise.
Good luck.
