RE: Ign. Switch
Mat, I only have a hard copy, but I'll see what I can do. I live in Warwickshire. To be fair I think the wiring part itself should be easy peasy. The only prob I foresee is getting to the back of the switch to pull off the 3 cores and either re-route or extend them to get to the new switch position.
I've just started a new job this week after being out of work for 2 months so I don't have time to spit just now. I am waiting for the switch to arrive from the States and then Easter hols next weekend before I'll get chance to play.
All the best. WW.

RE: Ign. Switch
Ya'll are worrying too much about getting the wires off of the existing switch. It's not a problem. There is a plastic cover underneath the backbone you can remove, then remove the rubber grommets from either side in front of the tank. Now you can pull some wiring down and move it around to gain room to work. All you need to do now is pull connector off the back of the switch housed in the neck. All three wires are housed in one connector. No problem it all. You will have about 8 to 10 inches of extra wire. No need to disassemble the switch at all in order to get to the wires. Just leave it in place so that you will still have a fork lock.
Oh, and walter windbag, If you don't have a security system, I could start your bike in about 45 seconds with a paper clip.

RE: Ign. Switch
Hi Psycho and Mat. My switch arrived yesterday too. I'll see if I can get on it when I have a minute.
Fortunately I do have the security system, but I'm not surprised when you say you can pull the wires and then short them out with a paper clip. I guess it's what I should have expected really! Thanks for the tips on access to the wires - on paper this job just gets simpler!!!
Have a good week-end all y'all. WW.
