Smart tune VE table question
OK I got out and did some smart tune runs today and loaded the new data in the bike and it did feel like it ran a little better afterwards. When I was looking at the cells I collected data for I noticed that they are mostly from 2200 rpms to 4500 rpms. at 1500 rpms there was no data above 20% throttle and at 4500 rpms there was no data below 15% throttle. At 5000 rpms and above I had no data for anything below 80% throttle. Should I try very hard to collect data at these points? Not often that you are riding above 4500 rpms at below 100% throttle.
Also When I had the VCi connected to the bike recording data the security light was red the entire time, is this normal? And I had to turn the bike off and on twice after setting the VCI up to record before the bike would start. It was strange like the security new that something was connected to the port and was trying to prevent the bike from starting. It started no problem after I switched the ignition on the second time but security light remained lit.
