Default Pro Super Tuner or Street Tuner

After reading countless opinions about these two tuners I am just as undecided, as I was before. Which one should I choose? I ride a 2008 Heritage Softail Classic 105 Anniversary Edition (with 4K miles on it) with some aftermarket Slip-ons. I don't know what brand they are. I also don't know whether my bike runs hot, cold, or just right. I feel like I could use a few more horses as well as more torque. Especially at the lower end. I am planning to add a new set of Bassani Firepower slip-ons along with a SE Stage I A/C kit. The Service Mgr at my dealership recommended the Pro Super Tuner (32109-08C) over the Street tuner (41000008-B). He also said the SEPST doesn't need to be hooked up under the seat after the tuning is done, whereas the SESPT remains connected. Which one should I pick? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Basically, If you are doing simple changes and want to use EPA compliant canned programs for '07 and newer bikes, the Street Tuner, If you want flexibility for mfuture mods not considered EPA compliant you need the Super Tuner

Thanks, Scrmnvtwins. Now, is this guy right what he said about the Street Tuner stays on the bike, whereas the Pro Super tuner does not?

Copied from my catalog, looks like both use the VCI box and cables to communicate to your laptop with the provided software. Big difference I see is the Street Tuner is EPA compliant and the Super Tuner is not. Street Tuner maintains company warranty wher Super Tuner does not. Street Tuner allows AFR tuning only, Super Tuner allows full tunability. Street Tuner is $249 and Super Tuner is $459

Screamin’ Eagle
® Street Performance Tuner Kit
The kit includes the Vehicle Communications Interface (VCI)
module with on-board memory that can record up to 15
minutes of run-time data. T he module will store information
on up to 27 variables that can be downloaded to your
PC via an optional U SB cable, allowing the rider or technician
to view and evaluate engine operating parameters.
With the included software, you can download and view the
bike’s air/fuel ratio, O2 sensor readings, engine speed and
temperature, R PM and vehicle speed, throttle position, spark
advance, and many more performance characteristics. T he
VCI will also record and display service codes for troubleshooting
and diagnostics.

Screamin Eagle Performance Street Tuner:
also has a note at the bottom of the 2014 SE Parts & Accessories catalog page 26...

NOTE: Street Tuner permits limited tunability within the emissions range to optimize drivability without compromising emission levels. It also features expanded tuning options outside of the emissions range to optimize performance.

For use with '07-'13 EFI Dyna, Softail and Touring models (except trike)

The last sentence of the NOTE is an important one,,, as the original Street Tuner did not allow for this...
