Does anyone know if it is ok to enable the accell pump for 07 HD models? I seem to remember something being said but cant find it now. I am just trying to stay ahead of my tuner and being able to ask intelligent questions.

You need to run the utility from Power Commander nad follow the instructions. All information on it is at http://www.powercommander.com/accelpump.shtml

 

Nearly everthing I've heard and read on the accelerator feature says not to use it in stock or mild builds.

are you maybe referring to the start fuel function? This is for more agressive builds.

The accell pump is fine for stock engines- it just gives a little extra throttle response to suit rider preferences.

We have been set it up on 6-7 07s in the last few weeks and all are running fine.

I had bad hesitation if I snapped the throttle from idle... I enabled and set the accel pump feature and it eliminated 99% if the problem. When the weather turns a little warmer I am gonna fiddle with the settings to see if I can get that other 1%.

for me, enabling the accel pump feature on my 2006 roadglide was a good thing.

 

what settings are you using,seems to be rider preference based
