Default Fuel range reads too low

I have a 23 road king. After I fuel up, my fuel range reads too low, around 153 miles. I have a range of 230 miles give or take. Does the Thundermax allow the initial fuel range to be changed to reflect 230 miles?

It doesn't show what the actual timing is? Only the degree of change? That is f'n annoying. I want to know what it is. Like 29.4 °. NOT -2.7 ° meaning retarded 2.7 ° from some predetermined number it deems top secret or some dumb ****.
I've seen maps posted here like that. +2°, -3° etc. Is there anywhere it shows what the actual timing is?

The timing tables in the calibration are in clear site and actual front & rear spark timing is displayed in the software as well.

I've got the same issue on my '22 FXLRS after installing a Thundermax.

I called Thundermax. They sent an update that improved the problem. Now when I fill up, the range reads 174 miles. By the time I ride 100 miles, it reads accurately. I get around 220-240 miles from full to empty.

Thanks for this. I'll relay it to the shop that installed my tuner. Did you load the update yourself? I haven't messed around with the software myself yet.

I assume you had to reprogram the ECM to get the mileage correct.

Ok thundermax gurus, I’m a novice and wondering if I could get some help.

I have an 2005 road king with a thundermax ecm. I bought the bike used and don’t have the original ecm or cables to hook up to the thundermax. My problem is my front cylinder isn’t firing. I’ve got good compression, spark but no fuel. Noid light shows the wiring is good up to the injector. If I get a cable, could I run diagnostics to see if the injector is opening?

basically, I don’t know if the ecm is bad or the injector. And I’m tired of throwing parts at it.

Try swapping injectors.
