OK, I am really confused. I bought the Kuryakyn Panacea tailight for my 2006 FLHXI Street Glide. Did the install myself, pretty much plug n play. Love it! So i decided to get the same unit for my wifes 2006 FXDBI Street Bob. I went throught the same install process and it does not work right. I use the flashing option switch for both bikes but when I turn on the ignition it stays on constantly like I am applying the brake. The turn signal feature works fine, no problems just the brake light stays on. I have eliminated the controller and the lighting unit itself because I have swapped the units with the ones on my Street Glide and everything works the way it is suppose to. So it seems to be a problem with the bike, but I have no clue as to what it could be. HELP! [:@]

 

Call Kuryakyn. They are excellent at diagnosing, and/orreplacing what is needed at no charge. They have helped me twice, and the service, response, shipping, and follow upwas super fast.

 

Well, I did call them (twice). I have swapped units between bikes and it works fine on the other bike. Sooooo it has to be something different with the Dyna that won't allow it to work right.

 

OK, found the problem - it was the switch on the hand brake not working properly.
