I'm looking at a dobeck tfi unit for my 96 rd king with m and m injection. Is anyone running this? Or maybe something comparable? Does it actually make a difference? The dovecot is the only one that I've found that mentions helping with cam changes (currently installing ev27 cam) and not just intake and exhaust. Any help is greatly appreciated

 

Ran one on my 01 MM injected Ultra. Did a good job when I added the 510G cams.

Make sure it works with your '96.. I had a 96 and the MM FI system is an oddball that was only used one year.. make sure it works before you buy it.

 

Yes it is! The 96 is kinda a pain in the @ss!! But it will work. That's about the only thing that will work. I've found a guy in Omaha that can remove the software in my ecm and put new in so its flashable but I'm going to save that for down the road. The tfi will work for now.
