I am having a problem with my HD 2010 Ultra Classic speedometer cutting out. It only seems to happen when the bike is hot, by that I mean air temp of 85 plus and motor running for an hour plus.

When the speedometer cuts out, I have noted that the tail light and running lights still work. The auto turn off for the directional lights does not work and cruise control does work. In fact, if the cruise control is on when speedo cuts out the bike will accelerate.

Here is the craze thing, the horn works, and if I use the horn the speedometer comes back to life. This works every time, but may only last a minute or two before it cuts out again.
