Vance and Hines exhaust decel pop
I know you guys have talked about this somewhat.
My bike is a 2012 Wide Glide 103 with Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes, Screamin Eagle cone filter and Terry components tuner. The bike runs great and gets great fuel mileage. It just when it gets hot it seems to pop much more. I thought the tuner would adjust for this? As long as you are in the throttle and cruising I could not ask for a smoother better running engine. Just when I'm cruising around town is when the popping annoys me the most. I'm considering changing to the Big Radius 2 into 1 pipes over the winter. Will this help with the decal pop? Just looking for a bit of advice. My last bike had the same set-up other than it had the V&H tuner. Same problem... Short pipes???? I've looked for exhaust leaks and have found none.
