Considering a PV and installing narrow band o2 sensors using the Bosch replacements which are only $20 ea. I spoke with Dynojet and FM, neither were sure if anything needed to be done with the map download from the PV to the ECM to enable, or instruct, the ECM to recognize the 02 sensors. The TTS documentation clearly states to use a specific type map when doing this.

Also, is it ok to hard wire the sensors to the ecm rather then using plugs? No wire nuts or anything, strictly solder and heat shrink tubing and 18g hitemp auto wire. I realize if a sensor needs to be replaced or tested it would need to be cut out and resoldered.

This is for an 06 softail and everything I read says the ecm will work with O2 sensors.
