Default Baffle, molex connector at TCA

Had the dreaded limp mode, p2135, p1511 again Sunday while traveling 75 mph down the highway, luckily no one behind me. Have had it several times. A few months ago I took it to the dealer and supposedly had new pins put in at the TCA connector. And it hadn't happened again until the other day. It got me a couple times on the way home. I know that the problem is usually in the Molex connector there. I went to remove it so as to clean the pins and apply dielectric grease, and it slid right off. It was not snapped. And after cleaning and greasing I still can't get it to snap in place, not good. The pins all appear to be in proper position as well as the connectors. The inside of the female side snaps down as well, but yet the plug will not go on far enough to snap, or at least seems that way. And the latch is fine as well. Anyone have any ideas?

Try cleaning around the inside of the shell of the female end. I just had the same problem and mine was gunked up with what looked like wiring insulation. Snapped right back on after I got it all cleaned out. Drove me crazy for two days.... good luck

I have not tried that. I will give it a shot and see what happens. Thanks.
