Mystery Plug

I took the breather off of my 06' Street Bob and found this tucked up next to the intake.
It had a cap on it so I know it wasn't plugged in but I'm still curious what it is for.

And yes, I know my chrome is filthy.
I got rained on today while riding and that's why I took my breather off.

not used on the bikes in the US. Just zip tie it out of the way

HDI (HD International) bikes use a flap on the intake and the exhaust to control noise so they can meet the standards for some of those countries.

That plug is what plugs into the HDI air filter and controls the flap via the ECM.

There is another one down near the transmission for the exhaust.
