I have a 2005 Ultra and am having some starting issues. It starts, but sounds like the battery is going bad with that click click click sound. Last year I changed the Stator and the voltage regulator. I put a new battery in this year and it was running fine. I used a multimeter on the battery and it read 12.4, which according to the HD book is about 50%. I tested it with the bike off, but did not check with the bike running. Is there a way to test the stator and voltage regulator? I am heading out in early September and would hate to have a breakdown if it is something I can fix now. As always many thanks.
