Default Question: screws holding ECU stripped

I think I now know why PO did not install the Fuelpak. The 2 allen screws that hold the ECU just spin. 2007 Ultra Classic. Can someone tell me exactly what those 2 screws are embedded into? I removed 2 torx screws that hold the assembly which includes the ECU but that offered no way to see what holds the other end of the allan screws. Before I just drill them just wondering if anyone else had this issue and what did you do. I tried to upload a pic but it fails. The ECU is under the right side cover.

Thank you

John

just want to mention that I called the Fuelpak tech support and they had no clue. Seems to me that inside there must be a hexagonal recess that a nut fits into but because it is just embedded in plastic it gave way and cannot hold the nut from turning. There is no reaching it from the back side of the housing. Am I on track here. if I try to drill it the screw might just spin.

OK, so I refined my search skills and see that others have had the same problem. I guess the solution is to use zip ties. Great, here's a bike costing over $25K new and we have to zip tie stuff to it because the moco sets up the DYI'ers for failure. These guys kill me.

Normally, PEM nuts are very reliable and strong, so the PO obviously had a problem with judging how force to use when tightening things. V&H may sell replacement ECM dishes for your model, I know they do for Softails. Run about $20 plus shipping.
P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if you find more stripped or buggered up fasteners on your ride.
