See if starts with a jump start and if it does make sure it is charging by putting a multimeter across the battery terminals....should be around 14.3v whilst running
If all that is ok then even though your battery is new it is probably faulty.
If not let us know...............................

If I was a betting man I'd bet on a loose positive lead from the battery to the solenoid/starter. A jump might allow cranking but it is not conclusive evidence that the battery is bad as the jump is connected directly to the battery terminals, ie, the cables that supply the starter, ie, a potential voltage drop between the terminal and cable is bypassed. If the battery is measuring 13.2v without the engine running then it is good. If you're measuring 14.2 across the battery with the engine running then the stator/regulator is good.
