My 2000 Ultra Classic is having some issues that no one can figure out. It starts running lean after about 5-10 miles, then it begins to skip under normal acceleration, no check engine light comes on. I have changed the plugs, wires, fuel line, and intake gaskets, and have had the computer updated. Any ideas?

 

Dirty fuel pump filter, or fuel line in tank has a hole in it.

 

Fuel line in tank did have a hole, but I replaced that and still have the same problems.

 

Did you replace the filter when you replaced the line with a hole in it? I agree with Tynker, could be a clogged filter. How many miles on the bike? I just cured similar issues on my '02 (with 85,000 miles) with a new filter. Start with the simple stuff first.....

 

May want to get the pressure checked.
