I have a 2007 Dyna. The problem is that when I wind it out in 2nd gear, the idle stays fast until I turn it off. Then, when I re-start it, the idle is normal. Checked for intake leaks. Throttle cables and IAC replaced w/o improvement. I've tried the on-off reprogramming method w/o success. Throttle shaft and throttle stop screw checked and ok. Next will be to replace the throttle position sensor. If you've solved this problem before what was the solution? Thanks.

 

it should not matter what gear you are in or if its in neutral if the tps is bad it should act up. has a value of .6 at idle to just under 5 volts at wot. should be able to duplicate it in any of those conditions.

 

Replacing throttle position sensor did not help. The problem was solved by a (free) reflash of the ecm. It had been calibrated at 32852-07 and was re-calibrated at 32899-07D.
