Default NO Brake Light After Rear Pads Changed?

Bike is a 2009 Ultra with ABS. I changed front and rear pads. When done, rear brake lights won't work? When front brake is applied with it's new pads, brake lights work great.
I blead the rear brakes after seeing the rear brake light switch is controled by the rear brake fluid. But I still have no rear brake light when I step on rear brake pedal? I checked the wires going to the hydrolic brake switch and they look good. Weird, cuz lights worked before I started changing the pads.......................
HELP

disconnect wires from rear brake light switch. jump the 2 wires with a paperclip or something and make sure the brake lights come on. If so, then the switch has failed. Have you had your brake light switch replaced under recall? There is a recall for the 09 touring bikes. Just coincidence that it went at the same time.

Thanks for the input and testing the wiring!!
I haven't had the bike at a dealer for a couple years since I started doing my own work, so didn't know 'bout a recall.
I'll let ya know what pans out after testing.

Thanks again, the paper clip test told all. Bad Switch!!!
Called Harley, and like ya said, it's under recall.
I'm second owne,r so recall wasn't sent. I'll write HD to see how to fix that.
I wonder how long the switch was dead? I alway am using both brakes so how would I know till I did something like change the brake pads.
Again, THANKS

I check the lights each day while letting the motor warm up.
