add autotune to my pv or go thundermax?
Building a 117 for my 12 sg. Full build. I currently have a power vision. Will adding autotune to it be as good as a thundermax? The pv has nice features when mounted but I never have it mounted when not playing with it. Kinda like how the tmax for tbw u can change maps and what not without the clutter. Will the pv with AT tune as good as the tmax? Don't really have reputable dyno neearby. Don't wanna blow money on tmax if AT on my PV will be just as good

It should cover the entire map. I don't use them but everybody that have them seems to like it. With only the wide band sensors you will be an Open Loop bike, the PV alone(not the ECM) will use the info from the wide band O2 sensors to modify/improve your tune. If you want to, after the wide band sensors do their job to your satisfaction, you could reinstall the narrow band sensors and return to a Closed Loop operation in the cruise range. You probably would save a fair amount of $$, sticking with the PV and wide band O2 vs the Tmax.

When running open loop the O2 sensors , wide or narrow, are not used/looked at by the ECM. Only in closed loop are they used.
