Unhappy LED Tour Pac Light

Just installed the LED tour pac light on the back... all went fine and when testing the center lights were not working. After checking all the connections found one where the wire will not snap into the connector. I tried to push in farther,, little motivation and nothing,, no click!!! All the other wires are in the same depth just this one will not snap and lock into place. Any ideas?? If none might just go around this one place and splice it on the other side of the connector.

Anything ???? would be cool???

Thanks!

the metal pin has very small metal "****" on it that make it lock into the connector. bend those out very slightly and it should click right in and secure itself.

Well after relaxing pulled out the old volt meter and checked the connections. It appears the wire harness is for the other version of tour pac lights with just the outer... There are no contacts in the harness connections for the center lights at all and the lights. Pulled some power from the extra light connection and tested the lights and they work fine so will be going around the connection and splice directly into the harness....

Default Something Doesn't Sound Right

What year and model is your bike? The tourpak LED light kit is a conversion kit that makes the tourpak a running, brake and turn signal unit with all the lights lit as running lights.

Well after a week of looking and digging found out the problem. Both holes in the six pin plug were ever so just off and would not let the pins go in correctly. So me and my dremel and pins went in and now works just as published!!!!
